Petworth Park Camp is approaching and hopefully you will be able to join us this year. The camp cannot run without our legion of volunteers, those who can help a little and those that can help a lot and all greatly appreciated and welcome to join us.
Here’s where we need help as it stands currently: Friday (3rd) Morning – Loading at District Stores Friday (3rd) Afternoon – Setting up at camp – Marquees, Climbing tower Saturday (4th) Morning – Setting up camp – Activities, Saturday (4th) Afternoon – Running subcamp challenge activities (themed around International Scouting & Guiding) Sunday (5th) Morning – Running activities (full list to follow) Sunday (5th) Afternoon – Running activities (full list to follow) Sunday (5th) Evening – Strike climbing tower & marquees if dry Monday (6th) Morning – Strike camp & load lorry Monday (6th) Afternoon - Unload lorry

County Rainbow Cafe Sun 26th May Where: 4th Woirth HQ (Near Three Bridges station)
This event will be for all in the LGBTQ+ community and allies. An opportunity to come and meet together, make decisions about Pride events and share ideas for further events along with an opportunity to find out about training and resources. It will be open to anyone in West Sussex Scouts Explorers, Network or in adult roles. With easy transport link to the HQ we hope to see many of you there |
County - Go Beavers 2024 Sun 9th Jun (9:00am - 4:00pm) Where: Blackland Farm Camp Site
West Sussex Scouts is again organising its Go beavers activity day at Blackland Farm on Sunday 9th June 2024.
Registration on the day will be from 09.45. The day will end at 16:00
Cost per Beaver will be £25.
Each Beaver will receive a badge, certificate and goody bag.
There will be 4 zones: Adventure, Explore, Fun and Create and Do. Your group will have an hour in each zone.
Activities are subject to numbers but will include grass sledging, archery, fire lighting, inflatables, tunnels, low ropes, bungee trampoline, climbing, water fun, orienteering, craft, and a Leader chill-out zone!
